Hi Keano, many thanks for the pictures. I am however not convinced about the rear bumper, it hides the JCW tips too much, does not look as well integrated as the front and the sills. With the stock exhaust it looks even worse, silly allmost. Have you decided what you are going to do in terms of 'grills/mesh' in the rear bumper?
Have you made any decision on the sill trim - are you going to re-use your JCW one's?
I end up with choices to make, all of them approx the same sort of money and I cannot do all them 1) JCW brakes - stop better 2) aerokit (or parts thereof) - look more sporty or 3) Exhaust header - sound better with some performance increase.
Anyway congrats on you aero kit, hope it provides much pleasure. I did not know in the UK that it also came with the side reflectors, thought it was only in the States.
Cheers

don't say that, please! my mini just yesterday got broadsided by a benz, and not only is it my first car accident ever, but because the guy driving the benz technically had the right of way, i'm stuck paying for it! i don't need two more problems to befall me, i love my mini too much.

and i say the JCW tips look nice with the aero bumper, in my opinion. then again, if i had designed the mini, the exhaust tip would sit completely flush with the bumper and look like it was integrated into the bodywork a la the lexus LS, i'm not big into protruding tailpipes.

Hi mate.

Your right it does hide the tips in my pic but that is because of my tips - they have been adjusted by the previous owner of my car and dont stick out enough as normal so Im going to get them adjusted. Ive got a pic of another car with JCW zoorst and aero kit so will try to get that accross to you to show how it should look

Grills - they are staying as they are for now but I will eventually be getting the minipirate grills or seeing what can be done for inserting real mesh... For now, again, Im in no rush so they are staying stickerless for now as I think it still looks good

Sill trim has come off ok. Just need to clean it up and get some suitable double sided tape to reaffix it - my sills are bare at the moment!!! Am considering the R56 trims that Chris at woodmans has on offer as these are metal strips and not too much more money... but for now Im happy with the JCW strips I have - they didnt get damaged at all during fitting of the aero kit/removal of the S body kit

Your dilema is exactly where I was a little while ago!!!! I went for the aero kit Am now after the manifold... this modding never ends!!!

Your correct about the aero kit UK kit doesnt come with reflectors - its a US spec kit not UK. There are lights in the reflectors too and Ive jsut had delivered connecting wires so that they can be hooked up to the side lights Just got to get round to connecting them all up....
