Just your views please on colour????

Hi all

Ive invested in a areo kit for my MCS which has come in factory primer and also bought new arches as well because i want to colour code them with the rest of the car.

My only concern is getting a good colour match to the body work which is dark silver.

So i have been doing some thinking and speaking with my friend who is a mechanic and works on my car, and we thought it would look a bit different and cool if we were to go for a slightly darker shade of the dark silver colour on the front, rear, side skirts and the arches, that way it would look like its been done on purpose to achieve a two tone look.

I have yet to see any other minis like this so could sure do with your views and advice and some pics if possible.

sounds wrong to me mate...look at the MINI CHallenge cars they tend to have different colour arches to the bodywork.

but imo...wouldnt look good

Hi all

thanks for all your replys but after some time spent looking at the body kit i have decided that i will go with the colour code match as it would be difficult to achieve a good two tone look and it would look a bit out of place. I will post some before and after pics when its all done.

Good choice to keep it the same colour. Trying to imagine what it would look like 2tone, brings up images of the imported saxos you used to see a few years back...
