Hi , I have a Black R50 cooper 53 reg . I want to fit a Bodykit for maximum kerb appeal so what do you guys suggest I should buy ... I was thinking about the Main Dealer Aerokit or the zeemax CSR kit .
Only my opinion but I would go for the Aerokit, the Zeemax has far too much going on and sometimes 'less is more'. But at the end of the day it's your choice so whatever floats your boat
imo mate, everyone goes with the aero kit - do something a little different. i think the zeemax kit is nice especially in this pic
its one of those kits that you have to go all out for and gotta get the right wheels and colour other wise it will just look a bit chavvy. the right interior also helps!
I'm a bit of a dullard and tend to stick to the manufacturer products...so aero kit for me. I like things that look like they were designed for the car. I know the Zeeman kit has been designed for the Mini but it looks aftermarket...if that makes sense.
Some people will like that so appreciate why products like this are made.
Having said that if i were to ever be tempted by any of the aftermarket products the Orciari bodykit is very nice. It is well designed, very rare and in my opinion is better proportioned on the Mini than something like the Zeemax. Just my opinion.
I agree with adam, i prefer the zeemax as it is something different which is always better with modding. However it depends how much u plan on spending because if you cannot afford to do the wheels well then either save or stick to the aero.
Sonia,
Perhaps you should consider the fully colour coded US BMW Aero kit.
We have just completed the car in the pictures, which happens to be an R50 Cooper which is pretending to be a Cooper S !
Car is painted in Subaru Black pearl, Silver Roof, mirror caps, grille inserts and sideskirt inserts. Grey leather interior, on 18" Kahn alloys with 225/35/18 tyres. You will find more info on our ebay ads under JCW aero.
Regards
Tony
i own an aerokitted mcs and if i had to get a replacement id still go aerokit. i do not much care for the rear of the aero kit though, but i may remove the cheesy sticker grills
