| Looking for mirror caps
I am looking for a pair of R50 door mirror covers in gloss black, having been unsuccessful so far with my add on here i decided to bite the bullet and visit my local dealer, despite me telling him i needed caps for an R50 he went and took the chasis number and said that they all came as a matt black and gloss was a special order, i said ok let me have a price to supply only for both types and i can choose. We walked back into the showroom past lots of cars with GLOSS BLACK mirrors he fiddled with his computer and told me that my car was originally supplied with gloss black and so that was all that would fit, as i looked at all the chequerboard and union jack caps priced at £29.99 each so that you can "peronalise your Mini" he said £89.99. needless to say i laughed and walked out. are all Mini dealers such tools? |
