How to remove bumper trim to add chrome trim

Hi Guys

I have a 1st Gen facelifted model of the mini one and I am about to buy some chrome strips for the back bumper (2 bits that go near the bottom either side of the fog light) as well as chrome trim to go round the front fog lights and a chrome strip to go on the bottom of the front bumper..

How easy is it to remove exsisting bits of trim to add these chrome bits?

I can see how to remove them

Hope someone can help

don't quote me on this but i am nearly sure i read somewhere that you have to cut some small holes for guide clips to be inserted. I think its put on with a mixture of those and adhesive tape.

The pre facelift ones look like they clip on but I have a facelifted model where im pretty sure the chrome bits wont just simply fit over exsisting trim, im sure the trim has to be taken off for these to fit...

I wish I knew how

Pre-facelift are clips in slots and adhesive tape, sorry not sure about facelift.
If no luck on here maybe try asking on Totalmini or NAM:
