According to the news article:
Quote:

The ragtop roof will be available as a dealer-fit accessory and is made from durable vinyl, folding almost to the back of the roof at the touch of a button.

Makes me wonder:
  1. Will the dealer be cutting a hole in the roof to install it?
  2. Will the dealer be removing the existing panoramic sunroof to install it?
  3. Will the MINI arrive at the dealers with the hole pre-cut and somehow plugged?

If, in fact, the kit will be fitted to cars with the existing sunroof, will there be a way to retro-fit it to a car that was originally fitted with a sunroof?

Mmmmmmm,... sliding rag!

Waiting, officially, since July 12, 2001.
C'mon July 2002!

Good question. And will they be offering ones that fit on the sunroof?
