Scraper Seal replacement

I am getting awful streaking down my window (particularly after I have washed it and the window is wound up and down) and turns out it is the scraper seals that need replacing. As it is not covered by warranty I have been quoted £185 to have them all replaced both sides and I was just wondering whether replacing them does actually solve the problem (can only seem to find one thread relating to this). It's just that it is quite a bit of money to shell out if it isn't going to last long.
Thanks.

Thanks.

I have the same problem , I have to lower and raise my drivers window twice a day at work for the car park entry barrier .
How much are the scrapper seals ££ and how much for the labour £££
Might leave mine until the better weather and have a look at doing it then!

Replacing the scapers does fix the problem which is caused by contamination of the seals by cleaning products according to MINI and is a known issue.

Mine got replaced under warranty 3 years ago and haven't had issue since. (R53 S)
