I am interested to know about the rear bumper chrome strip, mine is dented and I want to replace it with a colour coded piece.

Did you manage to get it off easily?

The chrome bumper was a factory fitted extra that should simply clip into place. If you manage to unclip it you should find something that looks identical, but colour keyed, underneath. If you find one without the chrome cover you'll see the empty clip holes along the top and bottom edges.

Doesn't look anything like as nice without it though....

Basic Mini One spec did not have the classic Mini style chrome bumper strips or the clip holes in the bumper, also I think the chrome is stuck on with some strong double sided-tape to make sure it stays put.

Looks much better with the chrome though in my opinion and you will have the clip holes to fill........
