Spot Lights? Italian Job Style? Help!

Hi,

I have looked everywhere for 2 spot lights for my cooper S as seen in the latest Italian Job Film.
Does anyone know the exact size of the italian job ones as I dont want them looking to big or small.. Also, do they fit onto the JCW aero mesh grill? And are they an easy fit?

Many thanks,
Rhys.

They're just standard bmw ones, but a lot of people (including me) have wipac ones. Stainless steel so don't mark, exactly the same in dimension as the bmw ones and yes, you can get brackets to fit through the aero grill.

Fitting is not too bad but you will need to take the car back into your MINI dealer to get the ECU re-coded so the car knows they are there (££)

That's if they're bmw ones. After market ones (like the wipac's) dont need the ecu done. There's drilling the underside of the bonnet involved, which is scary but ok. Other than that it's just the wiring.

Where did you get your wipac ones from jamski?

Rhys

Iv got 4 spots on my R53 Cooper S.

The drilling is scary as someone had mentioned and the rivoting is a nightmare! it took a good 2 hours to fit mine. I bought mine from mini sport for £139.99. They came with everything you need to fit. However, mine came minus instructions so i havent wired mine up yet as i dont know where to start!

Cheers, Matthew.
