| Aero front bumper & Cooper S rear bumper on R50? Hey up! Has anyone ever done this? I have a 01 Metallic Racing Green R50 Cooper with the standard chrome bumpers. I'm looking to change it but the full aero kit is a little out of my budget. I'm thinking about picking up a secondhand aero front bumper and using the rear bumper of an R53 Cooper S. Do you think this would look good? I think the rear aero looks a little to big and 'boy racer-ish' and I figured I could just change the rear bumper black trim from my old bumper to an R53 cooper s bumper to accommodate the exhaust? Also, anyone know the rough costs of getting bumpers resprayed? Struggling to find green ones. Cheers all!  |

| It will look good and yes you can swap the lower plastic trim over for the exhaust as it just unclips. In London a couple of years back I paid about £200 for both bumpers to be painted.
