Retractable Mirrors?
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the mirrors are retractable on the MINI Cooper with Chilli pack?
Thanks

Yeah, but you have to do it yourself... basically, they fold inwards.

I think the Japanese ones are automated, but us mere mortals will have to resort to manual labour

It does say in the manual that they fold, but i checked with my dealer and they don't. I'd quite like it if they did, another toy to play with ;-)
Gone - IB/W Cooper, bonnet stripes, white indicators, Chili
Now - EB/W S, stripes, Chili, climate, R90's :-)

Folding mirrors
Mine are of the manual fold variety too!
Useful tip though - whilst washing the car, fold the mirrors out the way ie lense facing away from car and all the water drains nicely out the mirror thus avoiding the need to constantly dry off the inevitable run of water down the door from the mirror.

OK so who has the partcodes for the Japanese auto-retracting mirrors?

Why do the Japanese cars get automated folding mirrors and the rest of us get DIY?
