Hey guys, I am looking at repainting the MCSa soon (same color) and I am looking into replacing the decals that are on the car now. I am wanting to get the exact decals that are on the car, but I am having problems locating them. I need the side and hood decals. If anyone knows of a site that where I can purchase new ones, it would be much appreciated! Otherwise I'll be tracing them and painting them back on... Really like the decals, but they are cracked and chipped and need replacing. The whole car needs freshening up. Thanks!
Not sure they are a MINI design?, BMWmini parts do have a selection listed, genuine MINI ones, maybe you could change and fit a set of those if no one can advise where yours come from?
Could you give me a link for the website you are referencing? Thanks. I was sure that they are factory decals... They are covered on the front with a clear bra. Not sure if that was an option from MINI or not. Sounds like my decals maybe one of a kind. Good and bad circumstance!
Slightly off topic, but do you guys tell your insurance company when you add or change decals? Hopefully getting a JCW in the next couple of weeks, and if I add 'Exterior decorative changes' to 'Modifications' to an insurance comparison website, the cheapest quote goes up by 30%.
Its because its classed as a mod, and they dont like that.
But theres decals you can get for the MINI such as stripes and then you can get the MINI Challenge type with the racing number on the side, now I guess that type sets the insurance company alarm bells ringing more than a simple stripe, best to ring and talk to someone exactly what you are doing, I doubt a stripe would make hardly any difference if at all?
