Heated Washer Jets

Merry Xmas etc...

So what do these heated washer jets do exactly, heat the water? I just dont understand which to go for, these or the heated front screen. All these bits just add up, and my budget only goes so far!!

They stop the nozzles from freezing up. Well worth it! Also you get the heated exterior mirrors included.

I would have loved the heated front screen but it wasn't available when I ordered my MC.

But it doesn't stop the pipes freezing as I found out. So unless you get the mixture of anti-freeze right it's next to useless.

But it's worth it alone for the heated mirrors..they're excellent.

As 3GGG says, all the heated nozzles do, is to stop them from freezing up... your actually washer fluid may still freeze however and it certainly wont make them squirt hot water as some have thought.

The heated mirrors, however, that come in this £40 pack, are VERY VERY useful in all weathers! Even rain just disappears - I miss this hugely when I drive another car and it is money very well spent indeed.

As most have said, the £40 alone for the heated Mirrors is worth it. Can't really comment on heated nozzels, but never had a problem with the freezing as I always put anti freeze washer fluid to protect to -10 degrees
