Wing mirror cowl removal

Hi

I bought a pair of wing mirror cowls for my Mini Cooper, can you tell me how to remove the ones in situ without breaking the tabs which hold them on please.

The link was very helpful,

There seems to be more than one kind of fixing to a mirror cover, the new ones are not the same as my original white ones,

is this to do with the year

I think the new one in photo is also a slightly different shape for the Mk2 2007 onwards MINI.......you need Mk1 2001-2006?

Glad to know about the cowl removal.You can done it very well and replace it like a good mechanic.I appreciate you all on this forum because everyone helping each other in a very good manner.That,s great to build a good society.However professional talks are with passage of time make some new changes.
