Red face clear sidemarker bulb to xenon??

Hi i just got the clear sidemarker today.~
one thing i notice that the bulb is orange and i dont' like it.~
anyone know how to take out the bulb?

picture will really help~~~~

I believe the side markers are required to be amber. If you have a clear lens, you must use an amber lamp.

I bought silvered amber bulbs for the front indicators. These might be available for the side repeaters too. I have white repeaters and can't see a bulb through mine - I'll have a look at the bulbs when I get a minute!

From looking at the clear ones when I installed mine, once its detached from the car it looked like it twisted sideways, and you could separate the two plastic pieces and thus remove the bulb.

That said, its both illegal and dangerous to have your side markers blink clear, since its confusing why something would be white flashing, so I'd advise against it. I usually see it on civic's with coffecan exhausts and broken body kits, I always wondered if not having the correct color lights caused someone to run into them or vice versa. You may be able to find bulbs that look clearer than the OEM ones but still blink orange. I think phillips silver vision may work, but I'm not sure if they make one in the correct size.

hi ppl i found out how to get the bulb out hehe

u just counter clockwise turn the thign and it will open heehehe
