Breyton Wide Body Kit in US YAY! - MINI Cooper Forum

I know a few members here have been waiting for the Breyton wide flare kit to come into production. I noticed today that Mini Mania is now carrying the kit at a reasonable price.(I'm not talking about the new wide body kits in the other thread)

I have to start saving now

Does anyone know if it will be possible to paint the kit the same color/texture of the stock arches?

Plenty of pictures can be found here

I remember reading somewhere that the arches are lighter because they are painted either a charcoal or gunmetal color so that they contrasted with the black show car.

i think that wide body kit is too much. did you see the rear shot? looks too fat, and bloated. just my 2p.

The Breyton Kit is simple and effective, as should be... It's on the Black MINI at Mini Mania

Yes, I've noticed those too, very nice looking without being gaudy (to my taste, anyway). But:

- there seems to be no "S" option which is what I want, and do you need the entire kit? or just the flares?

- I wonder if the standard 17 X 7.5 inch wheels would fill them out well enough or would special wheels be required?
Perhaps with a smaller offset...

anyone know?
