Chequered Decal.. Guinea pig WANTED.

Hi All.

As you may well know, we have altered the way we produce the chequered Roof decal.

The reason we have done this is to reduce price & make it more DIY fitting friendly.

What I am after now is some feed back from the customer. On how easiy it is to fit. So does anyone want a FREE(yes I said free) chequered roof decal. You can have either black or white.

All I ask is when you get it, it is fitted straight away, so I can get this info. Depending upon where you live, it might be wise to have cover while fitting, as graphics should be fitted in a warm environment.

We are also useing this method of manufacture for the classic chequered roof decal. As an example of fitting, we have a classic mini roof section in the workshop, and it only took me 15 minuites to fit the decal. It should only take the novice fitter about 30 minutes.

So if you would like a chequered roof decal(we have only 1 in total to give a way) send me an e-mail.

info@idlegear.co.uk

ps. if anyone has just Totaled their MINI, could you please chop off the roof and post it to me.

cheers Kev Beck idlegear.

It`s a mini thing, you wouldn`t understand.

Good luck Kev, but I don't think many Guinea pigs drive/own MINI's. Too small.

Free stuff is always good, so I'm SURE someone will step up (if they haven't already!).

Question

Well, Kev, did you pick someone yet?? (still interested if you haven't)

I sent an email but no response.... the more I thought about the roof decal the more I wanted to get one. Now I'd like to see how your new process works (pics from the luck winner)...

Hi Monsta

yes this is the same, as used by BMW & your self. We also can supply the large chequered to go to the gutters, this will need some trimming with a craft knife. (supplied)

And just to add, we stock both types of bonnet stripes.
Short.... as used by BMW
Long......as used by Monsta.

cheers kev idlegear.

Our long stripes only fit on the bonnet. but if anyone wants the extension piece, we`ll chuck that in too. But you do need to mention this when ordering.

All I need is the bonnet stripes and I will be. They are next on the list.

Well done Andrew, glad you are happy with it. Looks like a 10/10 for fitting.

Thanks for the feedback, I`ve made some alterations to the fitting instructions. One of the main problems when trying to discribe how to fit, is that, things that are second nature to a graphic fitter, are perhaps not as obvious to the novice, so they just need a little bit more info, to get them on the right track.

Well done again Andrew, thanks for the photos, I`ll be using them to update the web site.

Now how about a nice set of chequered bonnet stripes to go with that roof.

cheers Kev...... idlegear
