New Shark Fin Aerial

Can anyone in Scotland advise me on where to get the Sharks Fine Arial with out having to buy the sat nav?

Is their any MCS events in Glasgow at all?

When you get the Navigation system the radio antenna
gets embedded into the windshield. So that leads me to
believe the Shark Fin antenna will not work with the
radio. Just a guess... ask the dealer if it's possible
to switch.

Correct, fin is a satnav aerial but there is a bmw part fitted to 3 series that may do (V.Expensive)

Iam in Jordanhill, If its a BMW part your rite it will be expensive, but its all in the name of style & looks!!

How long you had your MCS for?

There are actually two parts listed on the system for the MINI, the rumour (and it is just that) is that it will work with FM as well as GSM (i.e. mobile phones)

I read a few months ago in one of those boy racer mags that there is a company that does the shark arial with or with out a l.e.d on it.
I will call my mate who owns a mod shop and see if he knows.

FYI - I've attempted to order part 84 506 918 545 from my dealer. It's been discontinued and is not available. Parts manager verified with phone call to BMW/MINI. Price was listed at $110.

hmm i will check it tomorrow, however it is listed as telephone antenna - multiband so i dont know if youcan use it for FM anyway

Just to let you all know I have gone for a full new Bee Sting Aerial should look quite kinky, Ill be posting plenty of photos next week after I pick my baby up on Saturday.
