got for the LED kits, better overall. that site should help you decided. i'm contemplated the green ones to go with my Silk Green car, but its not the top of my list. Lots of funky stuff in there tho. enjoy.
Flashing ones are not legal while the car is moving, if you are using blue neons, the car must be stationary, they cannot be used while moving. all other types are perfectly road legal. that site i mentioned above outlines the legal stance
My neons were fixed (non flashing) and other than the reflected light from the road could not be seen. My AA legal advisor, also believed that the non flashing light was legal, but was informed by the court that "any light of any colour that reflected from under a vehicle while moving was a distraction to other road users and as such was a breach of the code of Road Safety" hence the large fine. I was tempted to appeal, but as costs for the original case had been £275 I couldn't afford it.
I still feel a little agreeved and got at by the Magistrates. I think I caught them on a bad day as a recent case for the same offence was only fined £150. He had white neons (non flashing)under his Citroen Saxo. Best of luck anyway.
oi! its not rice at all. Whats rice is the stupid glow sticks that people have inside the car and the dumb washer nozzles. thats rice. He has a MINI, plenty of meat in there. If it was a NOVA or an FIESTA, then that would be rice :P i'm thinking of getting under car L.E.D.s
Dec, I've got the 48" under floor LED type in blue in stock, with a controller so you can put them on constant, pulsed, sound to light etc. Give me a shout if you are interested.
