Question Paint chips?

Hey -

My Pepper White MINI is on order; August delivery(how am I going to make it)!

Anyway, I still could change the color for a few days. I like dark colors, but had a dark blue Jetta that showed all paint chips. They showed as white on the blue paint.

My question (finally) is if your black MINI or other dark color gets a small paint chip, does it show up against the dark paint? Is it white underneath?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Hey, I have an EB MCS, and paint chips are much darker, I'd say a dark grey, so if you have a Dark Silver, or Black, I'm sure you'd be fine.

United-States paint chips

So are my paint chips going to show up even more with the light color, Pepper White?

Thanks.

had my invinsa-shield removed for deer-damage repair. Before I could get a new one installed I got sandblasted by an oncoming truck. Lots of white chips round the new headlamp. Dark silver. ******er/

Just polished mine and I have about 20 stone chips - all white on the bonnet and loads of scratches - well peed off have done 8000 miles and its 3 months old! its never been in a carwash and has been religiously polished weekly and yep they are lovely big white marks on a black mini!

Black/White Cooper -17", ss+, clear lenses, park distance, visibility pack, chili patina pack.

United-States Gray!

My S is LY, and the chips show a dark gray (or grey). I would invest in a bra, or a clear bra INSTALLED BY AN EXPERT if you want to retain a clean look.
