Thumbs up 17inch alloys and side grills now on! - pictures!

Hi,

Today i got my S Spokes fitted and they are great! - IMO they make the car look soo much sportier. Anyway, after my wallet being relieved of £270.70 (2 new runflat tyres) i headed off for an 80 mile test drive.

The grip round corners is soo much better compared with the 15inch wheels. You can really chuck it round corners. I find there is slightly more road noise but nothing major. The ride is slightly firmer however I havent noticed a significant different TBH. This i was very surprised about as i had heard negative reviews. Also the acceleration hasnt been affected at all - if it has its too minute to notice.

Overall I am VERY impressed with the 17inch wheels and it was worth the swap. They look soo much better too - pictures to follow shortly! - hopefully this evening!

I also installed some side grills 2 weeks back - Heres a pic of my car - more to come when the weather improves or maybe even tonight!

hehe -note the '.....' after modders dream - thats my mates idea of a joke. Personally i find it highly offensive that hes turned my car into that monsterous thing!

Portrhombos - i saw your car on mini2 last night before getting my s spokes fitted and thought it looked the dogs dangly bits. If you go to Mini in the park in august we will have to meet up - by then my spoiler will have been done together with tints.

No seriously I do. We have so much in common.

Got my insurance and road tax to pay soon, Petrol, mcdonalds, beer, and a holiday to pay for. I obviously cant afford all this yet and im still thinking of mods to my mini!

My car has blinded my sense of reasoning.

Its not so much a hobby anymore but a way of life. -sweet!

Hi Minty,

How much are the chrome mirrors out of interest? I am also considering the gloss black cooper mirror caps - do you sell those too?

Cheers,

Chris
