It had a cute, little, stubby black antenna (about 6 inches) that just looked so much better than the spindly, springy, factory MINI antenna.....that I just had to swap them.
Much better!
If anyone's interested I can post a pic in a few days. I imagine you could purchase one for not a lot of money from your local Honda dealer.

PS: It was OK with the Mrs.
2003 MCS All Black
1992 NSX Red/Blk 5 spd #0330
1974 Vette 454 4 spd Wht/Blk
1976 Honda Accord 5 spd, 3 door Blue/Blue
Have you noticed any change in reception? A good test would be to find a weak station with the MINI antenna on then put on the stubby and see if you can still receive the station.
Yeah I'd like to get a stubby antenna also..and trying to find those chrome john cooper sigs for my bonnet stripes..but all I've found is the chrome badge...
Crazy this thread got picked back up after some months. Yesterday I put my friend's antenna off of a TT onto my 2005 MINI, and it looked real good so I purchased this one off of ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ME:B:EOAB:US:6
Buyer looked solid, and it's the same antenna I put on. It looks much better than the R/C style antenna on my MCS right now. I'm sure it doesn't get as good reception, but I don't listen to standard radio anyway
Somebody at the Honda parts distribution HQ is probably really concerned. Pretty much every brand of car, it seems, is replacing antennae with Honda ones. Imagine the meeting where the parts person tells the manufacturing people that they're selling three times as many S2000 antennae than they sold S2000s...
Whoever OEMs those things needs to get on the ball and start selling them to the aftermarket...
