Roof decals - are they durable and easy to care for?

I'm on a waiting list for an S. I want dark silver with the white roof and bonnet stripes. Originally I was set on the checkered roof as well. At the dealership I saw one where the corners seemed to be coming up a bit. Also the corners didn't meet which seemed odd. Has anyone out there had problems with their roof decals peeling. Does it take a lot of extra care when waxing the roof? Thanks!

I have a sunroof-only graphic that started peeling up along the edges after a month. I am currently trying to work with salesperson at company that sold it to me. So far the answer is less than optimal. Looks like some tape around the edges will be required. A suggestion was made to use some some surface prep material but I am concerned about the potential permenant damage or residue on the sunroof. Since the MINI sunroof is not just a pure piece of glass I am not interested in anything that might mess this roof up.

The surface was throughly cleaned and graphic was installed per directions.

All I can say is don't rush into anything right now.

They look great but there may be issues.
