hate the yellow yellow side lights whith the xenons...try these!

for £16 you could replace the side lights with white LED replacements..they would look white/blue just like the xenons...these wee lights really aren't used for vision just as markers...i plan on replacing the indicators and the brake lights in the rear cluster with leds and the front indicators and side lights with leds aswell...only ones that will be filaments will be the side indicators as i don't think there are led types to replace them with.

think it should look sweet....anyone know anywhere else to buy these from as they are quite expensive.

but i have yet to find anyone else that does combined stop and brake lights that use leds..so looks like i might have to fork out!

Minty fitted some LED sidelights a while back now.

Should be noted they're not road legal here.

Yes, but I'm sure they saw them when you put them on for shows, because that's the only time I'm sure you'd use them? Right?

Haha, so, how those pics coming along Minty ... you've had almost 9 months now.

I tried to do this mod today, but had a few troubles finding an auto place that stocked the appropriate globes. I had to order in the Philips Silver Vision indicator globes, so next week for them ... and for the side lights I bought the wrong part! I thought they were a bayonet fitting like the indicator globe, alas, they're those funny plug in style of globe. D'oh! So I'll get to do it all next week.

I fitted some Philips BlueVision 5W side lights tonight ... and ... they're not much of an improvement over the yellow OEM side lights. Hmm, next...

Ive had them all, *And given the ones I dont use to other Mini2ers

Thw White LEDs (4) I had where too blue for xenons. The Blue vision too yellow.

I bought from mikythemini some halogen side lights, theyre spot on, and best bit is they dont lok blu through the lens.

Are they legal? If so, I might get some.
