Aero-Skirts (Quick Question)

Just got 2 aero sideskirts.. However u kno the current black trim that goes round the mini, do i have to order the little black bits to go on either end of the aero skirts so they match up with the wheel arch???

As i was gonnabe painting them today(earlier) (fitting 2moro) but relised theres no black trims in the box, so i take it there xtras.. DAMMM..

No, theres no extra bits. If you notice, you can see the contours on the skirt, and you can see which parts need to be plastic in order to line up with the current plastic trimmings on your wheel arch. You need to paint them with a black textured paint in order to mimic the plastic. It'll feel and look like plastic. I would have a bodyshop do this for you. Take a look in my gallery if you wanna see some pictures of what I'm talking about.

Basically the outer edges of the skirt need to be painted with a black textured paint.

Thanks....So if i go bmw... i just ask for a paint code for the Black Textured Paint that is used on the Aero Skirts and they will hook me up yeah....?? And my boys @ the bodyshop will be able to get this paint like the usual paint (car colours)

Gonna sort these skirts 2moro just 1 more quick thing, do i spray the v. top of the aeroskirt RED (CAR BODY COLOUR) or do i spray it with the Black Texured pain.
This is the bit where i lay down that silver plate saying mini cooper, the thing as u open the door. (isit sprayed black or the body colour)

I was going to fit the aero skirts to my Cooper, but I had some "S" sideskirts for free from the dealer!

Anyway, my dealer told me when I order the aero skirts, to make sure that I order them pre-painted from MINI as they then come with the black parts to match the wheel arch trims. If you order them in just primer, they don't and it's a pain to get it to look right, as they found out when they ordered some primer only ones for a pepper white MINI. They decided to paint the rest of the black trim body colour in the end to mach the skirts!

I've got the wholre Aerokit just to let you know TREBALZ the top of the skirt (bit where the kick plate goes) is indeed body coloured
