Different types of bonnet stripes?

I've seen plain white, plain black, white with a black edging and black with a white edging.

The stripes with contrasting edging look the best, IMHO.

But at the dealerships, I've only seen the plain white or plain black stripes.

How do I ensure my car gets the "edged" set? Are they a factory item, dealer-fit or third-party thing? And if it's either of the first two, what's the part number for white stripes with black edges?

I saw edged and non-edged at my dealer but she said that only the non-edged ones were fitted in the dealership - the bordered ones had come direct from the factory.

ive had a row with the dealers about this because i wanted the contrast border but got the plain instead

turns out the dealer got a local company to fit them father than go with the BMW ones

Does anybody out there know have any information on this stripe pattern? And is it just me, or is this quite possibly the world's most attractive MINI?
