United-Kingdom can u get driving lamps from new?

Hello, buying a mini ONE soon, but i really love the look of the driving lamps, is it possible to get them fitted from new, ie i dont have to do it/pay some external company to do it. I know you can in America, just wondering about over here?

But if you do a thread search about it, I think you'll find a lot of people have it done elsewhere as the dealer's go a bit overboard on the pricing. Also if you go with aftermarket lights, it'll be possible to get a lot better quality lights.

If you do get them fitted by a dealer, it's worth shopping around as there labour rates vary and (from personal experience) you can knock the fitted price down.

Best advice -

1. Buy the lamps yourself from either dealer or aftermarket supplier

2. find a small local back street garage/ auto electrician. -Yellow Pages

( got a quote from BMW of £420 for 2 spots and fitting)

bought 4 spots works lampbar from Minisport for £199

had them fitted for £15 and wired for £40
