there's a company called Demon Tweaks who do various aerials - you might find something you like in their catalogue.... haven't got the details I'm afraid but I think I got their phone number from this website...

I had a dislike for the standard aerial as well. The replacement i found was a Bee-Sting aerial from avonbar Racing:

http://www.speedgenie.co.uk/avonbar/index.html

They are 9" in total length and come in Red, Silver, Blue & Black. There are various alternatives to this choice (see CoolNew & NewMiniSport websites) but this is the one that suits me.

Another alternative to the standard Mini aerial is to fit a window-mounted aerial and remove the roof antenna altogether. Its up to you really.

The website says it doesn't effect reception, but I'd also like to hear from mgemie

Short replacements from Halfords, about £15 I think. Black, silver, red, gold etc
It's whats sitting atop my MC right now.

Try minisport as well, they do an anti theft aerial in chrome for about £20. You can have it nearly any length u want

As far as i can tell the Bee-sting aerial hasn't altered my radio's reception at all..

Although i dont use my radio that much since I've got my CD multichanger to provide the tunes!
