Shark Fin Aerial

Have any of you UK owners managed to order your car with the SatNav aerial fitted without the SatNav system fitted.
I dont like to 16v Golf type aerial much and would like the SharkFin for the radio only.
If so how much did you pay?

shark fin does not have an FM aerial in it , you can do it after purchase put you have to install am FM antenna in one of the rear windows

Can't be done from the factory on UK cars. The only way is to order Sat Nav.

The brochure I have describes the SharkFin as 'Dual Band', so what is the 2nd band?? I assume one is GPS....

Dual Band in this instance means that it works on GSM 900Mhz (O2 and Vodafone) and also PCN/GSM 1800Mhz (Orange and T-Mobile). For example a dual band phone would be able to use a SIM card from a GSM900 or a GSM1800 provider. On top of this there is also the GPS receiving function of the aerial.
