rear quarter tints

now that it's illegal in the uk to tint the front windows, i'm not sure whether to just leave the windows alone or black out the rears only.

would anyone have actual examples to show or perhaps a photoshop image.

it'd be great if it's in pepper white as that's what i'll be getting in march.

thanks.

Maybe a bit irrelevant, but you can tint the back windows as dark as you like.. law (as far as i know) is if you have 2 wing mirrors, you can have no back windows at all, so if you black the windows til they are no longer see through, it's still okay..(think of escort vans that have metal instead of windows if you need an example)
The same goes for the two back windows.. again, if you have 2 mirrors they can be totally opaque if you want them to be. There are pictures in 'go mini' magazine of a 'mini van' which is actually a regular mini with body coloured vinyl on the back windows.. The guy chose to put see through bits in to help with parking, and incorporated them into a logo on the windows, but it was his choice.

I realise the question is about front windows, but I hear a lot of talk about tints must be of a certain level of transparency. I'm confident this is not really legally a problem.

These are my beliefs, and they are not necessarily legal facts. You may want to check this out further before you get arrested and start quoting me!

I'm getting my PW One in March and I opted for the darker glass in the rear windows. I've seen it already on PW MCS at my dealer, looks great. Look in my gallery aswell as my IB One had it. Peter.

hey peter,

would you do me a huge favour and take a photo of the PW MCS with the rear quarter tints at your dealer? it's really difficult to imagine it without a photo or looking at it yourself.

i would realy appreciate it.

thanks.
