Shark Fin

Anybody fitted the shark fin aerial to their mini like the one on the 7 series etc was it easy to fit and how expensive was it?

For those Minis that have the nav system.

Don't bother is my advice. The shark fin is for Nav only and you'd need another aerial for the radio if you fitted it.

On a side note, I notice GoMINI magazine has printed that you can fit the shark fin, even giving the part numbers to order from a MINI dealers but they obviously haven't asked if it will actually work once fitted before they printed their information!

Yeah just like the previous issue stating that the Aero kit with the Cooper S grill fitted was actually a Zeemax body kit. I mean ppppllllleeeeaaaaassssseeeee!

I suppose if you rrrrreeaaaaalllllyyyyy want it, you can fit it and do without radio, or get a DAB tuner for your radio and not have to worry about analogue aerial.

Or, a place in Bolton sells (this is serious and not a joke) stick on shark fins!!!!! Just a block of plastic to stick to you roof! Some people!
