To all Mini owners in Melbourne,

Can you give me any reccomendation where I can get it done?

I look forward to the reposnses here. I'd be interested in doing this too when my MCS arrives. Not sure of Melbourne folk, but I am aware of a couple of Sydney MINI2ers who may be able to offer some advice.

We had ours done by Michael Stow in Artarmon. I believe Car Shine in Melbourne also do a great job.

Sorry to hear that ,

Its hard to find good painters who don't take short cuts. The preparation required for colour coding the wheel arches is key to ending up with a good result.

Thanks,

disdis put a dampner on my suggestion (Carshine). They used to be excellent however I haven't used them for years. Things change.

I'm getting mine done by Prestige Auto salon in Sydney next week. Will post pictures when it's completed.

I know it's not Melbourne, but I got mine done by an official mini dealer for £400. They stripped the aero kit, primed the arches and sprayed the lot in one hit, which means the quality is absolutely fantastic. It's probably worth asking your local dealer if they'll do it.
