Vintage Mini badge placement

i couldn't find a link to a classic mini badge (does anyone know where to find one online? its the one that looks vintage and spells out "mini"), but has anyone attached one to the front lower grill of their cooper (s)?

sorry to those who dont know what it looks like, but i saw one on an aero kit grill and thought it looked stunning. i dont plan on getting the aero kit anytime soon though, so i was just wondering if anyone else had tried placing one on the black plastic grill in front.

thoughts/pics anyone?

Have you tried ebay? Or Some of the classic Mini websites for links to spare parts etc. I'm sure if you searched for a while you'd find something there.

Personally, I'm not sure it would look that good having the 2 types of bages (new & old) both on the car, no matter where they are placed IMO.

actually, as fate would have it a ford explorer rear ended me a while ago, and i asked them to take/leave off any new insignia during the repairs- so no (or very little) mixing would be in order.

head down to the newsagents and get a copy of MiniMag or Mini World, they are full of ads for spares including all the badges you could ever want.
