USA MINI accessory rear spoiler

Anybody have the accessory rear spoiler on their Cooper with some good pics to share?? I've got the USA accessories brochure and will probably purchase the spoiler. There is only 1 pic of it in the brochure, but it's not very good.

Oddly, it's not part of the aero kit so it is not shown on the Indi Blue Cooper.

Thanks.

I've also thought it odd that the rear spoiler isn't included with the aero kit.

Do you happen to know if MINI makes two different rear spoilers? Because to my (possibly quite mistaken) eye, the one that comes standard on the 'S' seems larger and more pronounced than the one they usually show on aero kit-equipped cars in photographs -- or, for that matter, than the one I saw on an Indi Blue Cooper outfitted with the aero kit at the NY Auto Show last week...

Cooper S Spoiler and Aero Spoiler ARE different!

I want the Cooper S spoiler but think I'll have to get the Aero one. I'm still waiting for someone who wants to do a swap for the Chilli Pack spoiler, as I've heard that a lot of S owners to be prefer it. Unfortunatly not heard anythjing of them myself Maybe I should do a pole of what people prefer hmmmmmmm

Oh, wow -- so there's, like, at least 3 different MINI-sourced rear spoilers? I did not *know* that! Thanks...

Great pics as always monsta.

What is the spoiler on the Cooper that comes with the Sport Package?

Most fun on 4 wheels.

Yes, there are 3 spoilers available:

Cooper
Cooper S
Accessory

The spoilers are all different with the Cooper spoiler being the least aggressive looking. Personally, I thought the Cooper (w/Sport Package) spoiler looked great and much better than the Cooper S spoiler until I saw the accessory spoiler WOW , looks even better IMO.

I would agree. It is $200 primed. Anyone know what they will want to paint and install? I am guessing another $200.

I'd agree with you.........another $200 probably . I asked my dealer to find out how much it'll cost to paint and install as they will have to send it to a local body shop to have it painted.

Can someone post pictures of the optional Factory spoiler from the Cooper? Please.

Also, does anyone know how each of these spoilers attaches? Are there screws?

I'm just wondering if it's possible to remove the "S" spoiler all together without leaving behind evidence that a spoiler was once there.

Of the three, which do you think creates the most downforce? Looks aside, The S version looks like it might, what with air directed under to the wing surface. The other two look like they just push the car down by pushing the air up. Does MINI have any performance specs??

I'll post pics as soon as I get the spoiler. The dealer has the spoiler in stock but the installation kit is on backorder . Should be here in a week or two.
