Cool New I ordered a set of the chrome shark gill side vents for my cooper a few weeks ago, I received them very quickly and they look the business fitted. Last night I got home from work to find a parcel had arrived; it contained another set of side vents. I checked my bank account to see if I’d been charged twice, I hadn’t so this morning I rang cool new to let them know what had happened. First of all they just asked me to send them back, no thank you for being honest or even any mention of reimbursement for my costs to post them back. I asked for the money to cover postage and this was agreed. I then rang a friend to let know what had happened and they mentioned that they were after a set of these vents, so I rang back cool new and had to go through the whole explanation again. I asked if I could pay for the vents on my card as my friend wanted a set. I also asked if I could have any discount, 1, for being honest in the first place, 2. for finding a sale. This was left with them and they rang back shortly, I was told I could have them for the normal price less the postage costs, so that’s 49.95!!!! I have paid but I’m not happy. Do people wonder why there are so many dishonest people in the world?? I’m not having a go at cool new for there service, as my original order was processed quickly, however there definitely needs to be something done about their customer relations as I’m sure other companies would have dealt with this situation very differently and a lot friendlier.
