Magnetic Bonnet stripes ?!?!

I like the idea of bonnet stripes but dont like the idea of their semi permanence (seems very ominous if i grow tired of them). Magnetic bonnet stripes...............surely not. They may be worth a bash for the 'buy it now' price of £8 with included delivery costs. You have got a great option of colour and trims, what do you fellow mini2ers think?
I am just concerned they may be too thick and protrude from the paint surface.

Just don't go on the hi-way with them. There's a few threads from people reporting them flying off at speed.

Might be worth you popping down to your nearest Vehicle Graphics store.

I think if I remember right that you can get them cut to size with your own colour design for about the same price.

Also, the material comes in different sizes (in terms of thickness)

Decided to get them, can't go wrong for £8 !! even if they do fly off.
Ill post pics when they arrive. The ones i got are black with a white outline which should suit my pure silver mini with a black roof perfectly. If i like them i may get the permanent ones.

I would be too if i didnt clean my mini every couple of days!! There should be no problem if i clean the bonnet and stripes before i put them on every time

i was considering the magnetics also, but i didnt like the fact i had to remove them to wash the car and maybe when it rains and all that so i bought Self install Vinyl stripes, Black with White pins to match my black top on my Pure Silver Mini
i bought them from ministripes.com they were reasonable price shipping only $5.
when i get them put on i will post pics

Sounds good KooperCrazy, im getting black with white pins too. The only reason im not getting the permanent ones is that im not totally sure if i want racing stripes, so this is a tester! Looking forward to seeing your pics, ill post mine during the week when they arrive!
