Talking My new intercooler!!!

Had my intercooler painted to match my car the other day, then fancied it up by putting an S badge from the rear on it.

What do you guys think?

Looks really cool.

Did you spray it up yourself?

Also, does the tailgate "S" stick over the "S" Bulge, or did you have to file the bulge down? Any close ups?

Any problems with rubbing?

I had a bodyshop paint it for me. I just stuck the rear S over the bulged out S. Looks pretty damn good and you can't even tell there was a bulged out S in the first place.

I'll take some more close up pics later on.

Think I might have to get this done when I get some funds... tres cool.

Close ups of the "S" would be nice too though. Did the body shop have to rub/sand down the plastic, or did they not really tell you what was involved?

Sorry for the 20 questions, but I really think I'll do this eventually!

Since this is the "exterior" forum, does that mean that Miniman7 is driving around with his hood open so everyone can see his very nice intercooler plate?

Here's some close up pics I took today. Sorry about for the darkness.

The bodyshop sanded down the peice before they painted. Other than that it was pretty standard. They first sanded, then painted, then baked.

Hope this helps.
