Chrome Number Plate Surround

Ive done a search and can't find any discussion on the topic of chrome number plate surrounds,

I know a few people have got them but what I want to know is will I have to have new plates made or will they fit, also there is definitely room for one at the back but at the front there doesn't look to be enough room for one to fit, can anyone help

They fit standard size plates & are available at Halfords in a range of colour for £9.99

They fit normal sized plates, you have to slide one edge in first which is why they make look like they won't fit..

I've got one on the back plate on my black ONE, and it looks OK. However, if you get the ones from Halfords, spray them with clear lacquer straight away, or the chrome goes manky within the year

I've had one on a previous car and it was fine, the only one that went a bit skanky was one that got craked, then the clear coat of plastic got chipped

I got mine from Demon Tweeks in Wrexham and is made out of stainless steel, so it shouldn't suffer from that problem.
It was about £12 if I remember correctly.
