Saw it in the flesh at the UK motor show on Sunday and thought it quite ugly. Really sad it's replacing the shark fin too.
Further to that, there'll be no easy way of fitting an 'old' shark fin to the new model, as the new aerial is both GPS and radio receiving whereas currently the radio aerial is in the o/s/r window glass if you have navigation (or phone prep too on foreign specs).

Personally I really like the new aerial, only the base that is different isn't it? I think it looks more chunky and sturdy, not too worried about it, hasn't changed much!
However, another user 'Baz F' collected his facelift Cooper S last month and says it had the old aerial though?
