MINI Color to BMW Color Cross Reference?

I'm guessing that BMW is using their existing color palette on MINIs, and is just renaming the colors. Does anyone know if this is true? For example, is Vivid Yellow the same as BMW Dakar Yellow? I'm curious about MINI "BRG" - I know it is (unfortunately) a metallic shade, but I'm wondering if it is the same as BMW Oxford Green. Anyone know?

If it helps. In oz, I have seen a "Dakar Yellow" M3 and an Liquid Yellow Cooper side by side, and they look identical to me. There is some confusion over what constitutes "Dakar" yellow though with some members. Maybe the colours are different in different markets.

Do you mean Liquid Yellow, or is there a MINI colour called Vivid Yellow that we haven't been told about?

Must have been a "senior moment"! You are so right - I meant to say Liquid Yellow, not Vivid Yellow. I spent the afternoon looking at cars, and the eye-searing Vivid Yellow at the Mazda dealers must have damaged my brain. Liquid Yellow and Dakar sure look the same to me. I'm very interested in the green comparison, since BRG is my first choice at the moment, but I won't be able to see this actual shade on a car out in the daylight until I pick my Cooper up later this fall - If it is the same as Oxford, at least I could go look at a 740i and get a good feel for it.
