Question Removing scratches on the windows ?

I'd like to find a way to polish the windows in order to remove scratches. Would you guys know how to do it or have it done ?

The biggest scratch is on the boot window (from the previous owner during the winter I believe). I also have two hairline scratches on the driver side window, and two on the windshield. They seem to have been made by small rocks while driving

Thanks,

I have been told that "Jewellers Rouge" will do what you want. Not that I have personally tried it, apparently it works brilliantly BUT i would try it on something else first

Has anyone used Jewellers Rouge successfully?

I'm always bothered by trying these things because things so often go from bad to worse. I have a 4 inch hairline scratch on the windscreen of my month old Mini which I'd like to get rid of. Only noticed it the other day but can't think how it would have got there unless in the factory. If it's from driving then it must have been caused by a falling leaf!!! Boy aren't these screens soft. We also have a 5 year old Chrysler and the screen is almost perfect except for 1 stone chip

Also anyone know where this product can be sourced?

Sorry for all the questions.

read somewhere that toothpaste apparently works too as it has a VERY fine abrasive in it which isn't strong enough to remove the enamel from your teeth!

Well I did post something about using Jewellers Rouge some time back, but not in OT & B, it does work, just be carefull about using it on the part of the screen you look thru when driving, it can cause a convex or concave magnifying effect if used too vigourously.
