United-States White stobe light where reverse light used to be?

When I get my MCS I would like to put a white strobe reverse light where the lower reverse light used to be, just above the exhaust tips. Now the USA models have a black cap in that place. I got the idea from the CART races where the pace cars have different colored strobe lights all over them. Is the wiring already there for a light? I think in other countries Mini owners now get a rear fog light in that location. I live in southern California. Who could install this kind of light for me? Or would it be easy to do it myself?

I was thinking along the same lines, only with a oem reverse light.

For those of you who haven't seen how bad it looks there is a black plastic oval cap in the middle of the rear bumper where the reverse light used to be- UGLY!! Something has to be done to fix this.

I can understand wanting a "normal" reversing light, but a strobe? Personally, I imagine it would be easier to reverse whilst looking forward, blindfolded with hot pokers thrust in your eyes than reversing under the light of a strobe. Why not go the whole hog and replace your headlights with strobes? Now that would be interesting...

At least everyone else will see him reverse , a strobe light is more eyecatching than a standard light
