Hella Comet 200 Spots - Fitted

Just posting up these pics of my new Hella Spots I fitted today

Bit of a pain in the **** and the incorrect fitting instructions didn't help but finally got them on and working after nearly 3 hours of banging, drilling and plenty of swearing

Paid £120 for the set and I have to say I think they're an improvment on the ones you get from the dealer - bigger, brighter and nicer shape to them

Cheers guys.

Been promising some spots to myself for the last 12 months but didn't want the OEM ones and wasn't sure about the 4's with the bar. It was a guy at work who mentioned Hella and I saw some for sale on EBAY and went for it. Seem to have a few extra bits left over but them again isn't that always the way

The electrics were quite straightforward though

For anyone else thinking of these, my box says "Except Cooper S" (in German) on it but they do fit the MCS the same as other models

was wondering if you had put them on yet

pics please Max

got the same lights on my car, though I didn't get the specific kit for the mini, so I got the Minimadness brackets, and painted the lights BRG. there's some pics in my gallery. I've also put 100w globes in them (which I think is illegal in EU countries...) and they are BRIGHT.

I got some covers off Ebay... I bought a set of Hella Comet FF200 foglights which come with covers for around £20.... the covers fit the driving lamps as the lights are the same shape.

Hi there. I'm about to embark on fitting these to my Cooper which looks almost identical to yours!

Is there any advice you ca offer me? The wrong instructions thing sounds a little daunting...

Just absolutely cannot seperate the lights with that black thing AT ALL. Can anyone please help.

It's got to the point where all the chrome on them is cracking due to the force that I'm having to put on them in an effort to separate them to put the bulb in.

HHHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!
