I love my driving lamps. I decided to go with the official MINI lights because I thought they looked the best. I dont think I have used them much but they are very bright. I wouldnt hesitate to get them. They really do set the car off.

I love the look, but to be frank I have yet to take the covers off them.....some day maybe, when I am lost in the Dark Forest, I might whip em off, in the mean time, I am just another poser.....

Yeah they are like (very) high beams. Superb for driving country lanes at night and they look very cool normally in the daytime. Bought mine mainly for the look as I don't do that much country lane driving atm. Definitley well worth it though.

And, if a game warden happens to be in the area when you're spotlighting for deer, you'll have little need for the driving lamps while your're in jail. The fine for spotlighting is probably about the same cost as the driving lamps.

Too bad deer don't have guns . . .

Yes. The look cool and when you need the extra light on a dark back road one night you'll be very glad (and travelling at least 20% quicker by my reckoning!!)

They are also very cool for flashing at people to let them out of junctions or to let other drivers know you're not too happy that they've just cut you up/run you off the road!!

Check my gallery - I've got the Hella 200's rather than the MINI ones because they are a better match to the 2005 Xenon with their clear lens'....and a lot cheaper too!

I think the driving lamps really look sharp with bonnet stripes. They just add something extra. I have an all black MCS on order, and I'm contemplating bonnet stripes and lamps. Any color ideas?
