Spot Light Problems Hi all, I have OEM Spot lights fitted to my MCS. Recently the glass in one of them has smashed due to a stone chip. So, easy i thought just roll up at the Mini parts department and order a new glass. I was not happy when I was told that the only solution was to buy a complete lamp unit costing £70.00. Does anyone know it there is an alternative solution here - maybe somewhere else that just the glass can be bought. Seems a real waste of money to have to replace the whole lamp when all you need is a bit of glass that shouldn't cost more than £5.00 Thanks |

| Thanks everyone I have also found other posts regarding the driving lamps going rusty. I have this problem too and may just try getting the dealer to replace them under warranty. I'll be back if i get no joy tho rgds |
