Front AERO inserts??

Hi All,

Just a quick one, on some aero front bumpers i've noticed that the surround of
the fog lights is black, where as mine are body coloured. Are these stick on covers, or has the kit been sprayed that way??

Please please help as ive got a massive stone chip near the fog and don't
want to have to re-spray it, would rather cover with that 'black cover plate'
if there is such a thing??!!

Cheers Nick,,

Fitted some to my car when I had my Aero kit fitted the other day (check my gallery). They look great. Far better than without IMHO, and a great way of covering a stone chip!

It's an item that BMW themselves carry, but as most people don't opt to have them fitted (or don't know about them!) then you'll find most dealers don't carry them hence they'll be to order. Only 2 days though.

I'll have a look how much they are for you and let you know.

Thanks for the compliment!

Steve sell me yours off your car you've got a new bumper,
where as some of us have a stone chip to hide!

Back bloody order!! GUTTED

You know what i'm thinking now?!! Get some black vinyl and measure out the exact
shape of the insert, think i'll be off to the local sign shop on Saturday. Worth a try.

not quite on topic, but kinda topic reversed, if that makes sense...

Know those fake mesh-y bits they put in the inserts of the rear bumpers? Are they easy to take out, and if so, do they leave an unholy mess behind them?

The aero kit in red looks well with the black inserts, pal.

As for the black vinyl idea, I think that would certainly be a good short term solution, and probably a hell of a lot cheaper too- good thinking!
