yeah sure was i had to sand all of the chrome off while not damaging the plastic
then the plastic had to be primed with a plastic primer (obviously) and three coat's
of paint but i think it was worth it im really chuffed
I never liked the front rippled chrome surrounds

well the chrome surrounds cost me € 65.00 euro
and the paint and bits and pieces cost me another € 50.00
painted it myself

Very nice!!! I am not a fan of the chrome on the grille (unless the car is black or IB/HB). Your solution looks awesme whilst maintaining the clean stock look.
