MINI Spray Paint in a can

Hi,

I saw this info posted in the faq section of this site.

I have recently purchased a black abs unpainted replacement boot handle for my '04 PS/B MCS.

I want to get this part but my dealer here in New Jersey says that the part number is no good.

Is this part only available outside the US???



Monsta, please help! I would love to be able to get the Black paint and clear coat directly from Mini.

can I use this to color code wheel arches and lips? after proper prep is done of course

With the proper pre-paint prep and the wet sanding between layers, it should work. Patience is the key.

Does anyone know the color code of Mini's solid black (I think it's called jet black)?

leon, I am not sure if there is any flex agent in that spray paint. You might want to find that out. If it is too brittle, any bending of the fender arches may make the paint chip and flake. Just a thought to check out.

Here is a list of paint codes from www.paintscratch.com, which is where I ordered my paint as it seems that I can't get it here in the US direct from Mini.
