Adjusting R hand drive Xenons for driving on Left Hi, has anyone taken their mini with xenon headlights to Europe from UK or Ireland? I am going in a couple of weeks and have had wildly differing advice. The handbook says I must ask my dealer to adjust therm, which I have read about being the case with other cars. My dealer has told my wife that the lights adjust themselves (how do they know they are in France - can they smell the Gauloises?). Mini customer service have recommended a "foil" that I can use on my driving lights and my xenons : part number 63 12 0 03 09 41 apparently: but I have read that xenons do not like having things stuck to them and it is hard to see how any kind of blocking system would cope with the self levelling. Any offers of how I can resolve this? Please be careful to agree with each other, as I already have 3 answers! Alistair |
