Hey,

Mine just packed up today and after reading the thread about giving the door panel a wack I tried it... And it bloody well worked! Just hope it last....

Ig your half handy most minor repairs can be done on your own, just worth writing down what order you remove the door panel in and draw any diagrams of parts that need to be removed, especially the wiring...

Good luck

Make sure the cable/wheel doesn't spring off the shaft - its a pig to rewind if it comes unraveled

Try to get some silicone spray on the ruber, or try to clean the ruber from inside. I had that problem.

Cheers!

I thought I would need a new regualator or motor recently owing to passenger side stooping working but mechanic advised it was just the clips & were Mini shelf items so big bill overted.

Somehow I think I would have received a bill for a motor or regulator if this had been a franchised Mini dealers? Aftermarket rules!!
